Theme: “The testimony of the Christian in a perverse world
Text: 1 Peter 2:9-10

9. You, on the contrary, are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, an acquired people, that you may proclaim the virtues of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, 10. you who formerly were not a people, and now are the people of God, you who had not obtained mercy, and who now have obtained mercy.

Let's remember:

The Christian is richly blessed in that he has left darkness to pass straight and without transition towards the admirable light of God. It is the supreme happiness. We were favored by God because this journey deserved a lot of sacrifice and ability. However, none of this was required of us. Christ paid all this price in our place. He took our inabilities and charged us with his successes. Such favor enables us to be rigorous with ourselves in producing works worthy of repentance by the grace of God. In this perverse world, let us help to help those who are still in darkness in order to bring them back to the light of God. Darkness represents life without God, life in sin, eternal loss. As for the light, it is salvation, life under the grace of God, the fear of God and obedience to His Word through sanctification. Having been saved, let us apply ourselves to saving others so that hell does not collect a large number of people. Our testimony must be that of a person saved without merit and who strives to save others. Let's form a big team of rescuers. Let us become fishers of men in order to save a multitude. We have obtained mercy, now we are the people of God, we are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a acquired people, that we may proclaim the virtues of him who called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. Let us preserve the testimony of makers of saved Christians. Excellent month of May. Amen
