Living the Protestant ethic in our families

Saturday March 12, 2022

Theme : " Living the Protestant ethic in our families " Text : James 5:16-17

16. Confess therefore your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of the righteous has great effect. 17. Elijah was a man of the same nature as us: he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and there was no rain on the earth for three years and six months.

Let's remember:

The children of God who obey his laws and who practice them, in accordance with the Protestant ethic, live love and solidarity in their families. They confess their sins and confess them to each other; they support each other in prayer. In Protestant ethics, it is the authority of God through his Word that takes precedence and takes precedence over other considerations. And God answers prayers with faith, power, and authority; in such a way that within the families, healings take place. Families living in congregations with a Protestant ethic experience the miracles of God at the end of the prayers made for the sick. As Elijah asked God in his prayer that there should be no rain, and God answered him; likewise God performs great miracles through Christian families of Protestant ethic. If we respect God, the Protestant ethic will always have value in our families. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
