Theme: “The Seduction of the End Times”
Text: Matthew 24:23-27
23. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is Christ,’ or ‘There,’ do not believe it. 24. For there will arise false Christs and false prophets, and will show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, the very elect. 25. Behold, I have told you beforehand. 26. Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness;’ do not go out; ‘Look, he is in the closets;’ do not believe it. 27. For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even to the west, so will also the coming of the Son of Man be.
Let us remember:
The return of Jesus has already been announced several times by false prophets who have failed. The year 2000 was announced as the year of the end of the world, and yet it is 2024. Likewise, people will say that Christ has already arrived or that he is hidden somewhere. Let us not go looking for him there; it is a trap that will close on us. Moses, John the Baptist and Jesus were visited by God in the desert. This is not enough for us to let ourselves be dragged into the deserts in search of Jesus. He will not be there: it is only the seduction of the end time. Satan's workers want to mobilize the greatest number of Christians to keep their attention in order to better distract them, stun them and deprive them of eternal life. Let us not believe them if they ever come to announce the false good news to us. Always in the seduction, the lie, the confusion of the last times, false christs and false prophets will arise; they will do great signs and wonders, to the point of seducing, if it were possible, even the elect. There are some who have already proclaimed themselves Christ; who wanted to walk on water and who perished. Let us beware of such christs who are a bait of the devil to conquer our souls. Some practice in Christian music, others in the scriptures of Christian books, still others in Christian films, Facebook live, YouTube and others. Let us be vigilant and discern the spirits.
