Theme : " The Rapture of the Church at the Return of Christ " Text : Matthew 24:43-47

43. Know this well, if the master of the house knew on what watch of the night the thief must come, he would watch and not let his house be broken through. 44. Therefore, you too, be ready, for the Son of Man will come at a time when you will not think of it. 45. Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has appointed over his people, to give them food in due time? 46. Blessed is that servant whom his master, on his arrival, will find doing so! 47. Truly I tell you, he will set him over all his possessions.

Let's remember:

Today's message not only asks us to be vigilant; but watchful and ready. One can be vigilant without having prepared to enter into the joy of the Master. The example of the thief is striking. Yes, the thief can act in broad daylight in a distracted crowd. He can steal from a state fund. The thief can infiltrate a remote bank in a distant country. The thief is really unpredictable despite the mechanisms put in place. But he who watches cannot be surprised by a thief. Our Lord is neither a thief nor a usurper even less a clandestine. What should be remembered is that the timetable for his return is not published in advance. No one has the slightest imagination. This is why the surprise effect of his return will be obvious. It could be while we're on a plane, a beauty salon, a supermarket, a party, a dance bar, sick in a hospital. It could be during a moment of praise, argument, backbiting, laughter, mourning… wherever. Let's be ready at all times. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
