Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes his power

Thursday August 18, 2022

Theme : " Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes his power " Text : Psalms 138:1-5

1. From David. I celebrate you with all my heart, I sing your praises in the presence of God. 2. I bow down in your holy temple, And I praise your name, because of your goodness and your faithfulness, For your fame has increased by the fulfillment of your promises. 3. The day I invoked you, you answered me, you reassured me, you strengthened my soul. 4. All the kings of the earth will praise you, O Lord! Hearing the words of your mouth; 5. They shall praise the ways of the Lord, for the glory of the Lord is great.

Let's remember:

The power of God is manifested when we praise him with the right words. Good praise must come from the depths of a heart willing to celebrate the Lord. It is not a story of a beautiful voice or a beautiful melody but of a heart well disposed in the presence of God. Beautiful voices, beautiful melodies and beautiful arrangements join with willing hearts to produce a choir that moves the throne of God. When the impulse of the heart is manifest, the celebrant can bow down to revere God. A well-disposed heart always finds the right words to honor its God and make it happy. Praise well done triggers the answering of prayers because it touches the sensitivity of God. In response, God comforts and strengthens the praiser or worshipper. It's time to return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes his power. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
