Text : Ephesians 5:20
20. Continuously give thanks for all things to God the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Let us remember:
Many Christians have been formatted on demand and on supplication. Very few Christians understand the merits of thanksgiving. It is rare to hear a prayer of end to end thanksgiving; without inserting a single request. It is true that every Christian always says thanksgiving but it is a short part; the greater part being devoted to daily needs. Today the Lord teaches us to give thanks at all times. In good, as in bad circumstances, give thanks. When all seems lost, no glimmer of hope perceptible, we must give thanks. Let's learn how to give a full, multi-minute thanksgiving prayer. To give thanks to God is to thank him, to recognize his benefits; recognize his work of salvation. Let’s give thanks for everything. It's in the Name of Jesus Christ that we have to do it.
