Theme : " Let us give thanks to the Lord for the year that is ending"
Text : Colossians 3:15, 17
15. And may the peace of Christ, to which you have been called to be one body, reign in your hearts. And be grateful ... 17. And whatever you do, word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Let us remember:
Let us give thanks to God the Father for the peace which he imprints on our hearts preoccupied with the concerns of this century. We cast anxious glances at useless things. By his grace, the Lord God brings all our thoughts captive to the obedience of his Word. Let us give thanks that he catches up with our errors and makes us converge towards salvation in Jesus Christ. Let us give thanks for the peace of Christ which reigns in our hearts; that peace to which we have been called to be one body. Let us give thanks to God who makes us abide in this peace by helping us to form one body. We give thanks because God gives us the ability to overcome the obstacles of lust, the fear of tomorrow. For all the actions taken on a daily basis, in word or in action, let us give thanks to our God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
