Cast aside the sin of violence in the Church and the family to enter into sanctification

Monday 22 November 2021

Theme : " Cast aside the sin of violence in the Church and the family to enter into sanctification " Text : Isaiah 59: 13-14

13. We have been guilty and unfaithful to Jehovah; We have forsaken our God; We uttered violence and revolt, Conceived and meditated in the heart of words of lies; 14. And deliverance is withdrawn, And salvation stands at a distance; For truth stumbles in the public square, And righteousness cannot approach.

Let us remember :

Violence can be defined as the abuse of force. It is the use of physical force, threats against others or against oneself, against a group or a community. Violence can cause trauma, separation, conflict, fight, psychological damage, developmental problems, or death. Abuse can be physical, verbal, scriptural, or pictorial. It can be intentional or not premeditated. A simple drawing can express violence. A look can manifest violence. A poorly controlled gesture can be disproportionately violent. And even a lie can be the cause of violence that will leave destructive effects. Let's learn to control our words, our actions, our actions so as not to spread violence. The scars left by violence are difficult to erase; especially for weak souls. One who experiences violence may be traumatized and forget to pray. Let us help others to sanctify themselves. Let's stop all kinds of violence. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
