Theme: “The walk in peace"
Text: Hebrews 12:14-15
14. Seek peace with all, and sanctification, without which no one will see the Lord. 15. See that no one deprives himself of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness, springing up, produce trouble, and many become infected with it;
Let's remember:
We must seek peace with our neighbor and sanctification before God. He who sanctifies himself is also at peace with God and therefore cannot live in contention with others. Sanctification brings peace and dispels dissension in the community. Let's not select the people with whom we will be at peace. We must include everyone in our peace quota. Spiritual development depends on our sanctification and our ability to seek peace with others. Let's avoid always lining up as victims as if the others were bad and we are the saints. Let us receive peace from others and welcome it without murmurings or hesitations. Let us pursue peace with those who harm ours without tiring of loving and forgiving them. Let us prevail in a spirit of gentleness and humility in order to live in peace with those around us. Let's read and practice Philippians 4:6-7 and Colossians 3:15. Excellent Sunday of peace. Amen Alain Louz.-
