Theme : " The Rapture of the Church at the Return of Christ "
Text : Matthew 13:24-30
24. He offered them another parable, and he said: The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25. But while the people were sleeping, his enemy came, sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. 26. When the grass grew and gave fruit, the tares also appeared. 27. The servants of the master of the house came and said to him, Lord, did you not sow good seed in your field? Where does it come from, then, that there are weeds? 28. He answered them, An enemy has done this. And the servants said unto him, Shall we go and pluck it up? 29. No, he said, lest in pulling up the weeds you uproot the wheat at the same time. 30. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will say to the reapers: First pull up the tares, and bind them in sheaves to burn them. , but lay up the wheat in my barn.
Let's remember:
While we sleep a sleep caused by sin, the enemy will take advantage of this to pervert us further. He will obstruct our former vigilance and will want to keep us dissolved in sin so as not to experience the rapture of the Church. Let us watch and pray that the schemes of the devil are doomed to failure. Let's not be the chaff within the body of Christ, of the family... Let's not be an occasion for our neighbor to stumble. Let us not stand in the way of the spreaders of the gospel. Let's not make fun of God's message; preached by his anointed. All this serves as chaff; troublemaker, worker of iniquity. These categories of "Christians" will not participate in the rapture but they will be burned in the eternal fire. As for the tares that grow alongside us, let them grow and God will take care of them in due time. However, we can urge him to change sides and pray for his conversion. In itself, let's not have a double identity of good and bad seed at the same time, let's make the right choice so as not to appear lukewarm: either we're hot or we're cold.
