Theme: "The Presence of God"
Text: Hebrews 13:5
5. Do not indulge in the love of money; be content with what you have; for God himself has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
Let us remember:
Living the love of God gives us the desire for his presence on a daily basis. He who knows God abstains from things that can distance him from his presence, such as idolatry. In the presence of God, idolatrous attitudes are not allowed. The love of money is an infamy or idolatry. It is written: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength" Deuteronomy 6:5. Instead of loving money, we must love God and follow his prescriptions. If we taste the secrets of his presence, then let us keep the grace acquired in Jesus and the stability so as not to flit here and there. Even when things seem stagnant, let us not lose sight of the way our God works. His silence is not proof of his absence. He never abandons his offspring. Let us remain in his presence and spend sweet and precious moments there. In his presence, we say with assurance that: The Lord is my helper, I will not fear; What can a man do to me? The assurance of God's presence in our lives must invigorate us so as to avoid going elsewhere to see if the grass is greener. With our God, we have a guarantee that he will not abandon us or forsake us. He is faithful in his promises. Excellent Wednesday. Amen
