Theme: "The Church, a community of God's children"
Text: Galatians 3:26-28
26. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus; 27. As many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Let us remember:
The Church is a community of God's children in which there is no racial segregation, no separation of nationality, no distinction of social rank, no criteria of age or height, much less weight. The common factor remains faith in Jesus Christ. This faith leads to baptism into Christ. After baptism, each member wears the same covering regardless of place, language... when one receives baptism into Christ, one then puts on Christ. This is why it is not difficult to recognize the members of the Church community. We quickly identify a child of God because he wears Christ as a garment. The members of the community called the Church all have heavenly nationality because they are automatically fellow citizens of the saints, people of the house of God. When they meet, they do not feel like strangers or outsiders. They belong to the same Father. The children of God who are members of the Church are a holy temple, they are a well-coordinated building. They are all built in Christ to be a dwelling place of God in the Spirit (Ephesians 2:19-22). This strong resemblance removes human and carnal differences. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for we are all one in Christ Jesus. Excellent Wednesday. Amen
