Text: Proverbs 22:1-5

1. Reputation is better than great riches, And grace is better than silver and gold. 2. The rich and the poor meet; It is the Lord who made them both. 3. The prudent man sees evil and hides, But the simple advance and are punished. 4. The fruit of humility, of the fear of the Lord, is riches, glory and life. 5. Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse man; He who guards his soul moves away from it.
Let's remember:
Faced with the challenge of development, the Christian must be on his guard so as not to trample underfoot the laws of blessing. Indeed, there are precepts that we must scrupulously respect if we want to stay on the course of development. These are in themselves challenges to be managed without neglect and without interruption. Among the development challenges, there is the challenge of reputation. This challenge requires us to develop while keeping our hands clean, without falling into shenanigans, manipulation, embezzlement, betrayal, fraud, embezzlement, in short our development must be based on a good reputation. This is what makes God satisfied with the work of our hands since he would see that we would have developed through the sweat of our brow. Many people have taken up the challenge of development but relying on ill-gotten gains and other shameful fraudulent means. Let us work under grace and not seek development far from the grace of God at the risk of building precarious development because grace is better than silver and gold. This is how we must analyze these things carefully in order to retain what is good for development. Analyzing these things means seeing evil from afar and hiding in God so as not to develop at the expense of others. The challenge of development must not be a pretext to torpedo the laws of God. It is better to miss the challenge of development out of respect for God than to develop to the detriment of our neighbor. Both developed and less developed people were created by God. There's nothing complicated about that. Those who want to take on the challenge of development without taking these aspects into account will be punished by God. Let us be humble and have the fear of God to achieve pure development and wealth, glory and life. Let us avoid walking on thorns by wanting to develop at all costs; they become traps on the path of the evil man. Excellent Friday and good start to the weekend. Amen
