Theme: “Live your youth in sanctification”
Text: 1 Corinthians 6:18-20
18. Flee from fornication. Whatever other sin a man commits, that sin is outside the body; but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19. Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have received from God, and that you do not belong to yourselves? 20. For you have been bought with a great price. So glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which belong to God.
Remember:
Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, it is therefore the seat of God, the seat of praise and worship. Is it possible to bring the defilements of fornication into the body of Jesus? Is it acceptable to defile the holiness of God? Young people are exposed to several challenges that require sanctification at the risk of not shining in the midst of a perverse generation. Nowadays, digital technology facilitates access to immodesty without filters and without effort. Sin even comes to seek us at home, if we are not careful, we run the risk of separating us from God. Self-control and discernment are required in order not to give in to temptation. Take the attitude of Paul, he treated his body harshly and he held it in subjection, for fear of being rejected, after preaching to others. 1 Cor. 9.27. May each young person protect his body against the wantonness which is rampant more than ever in our natural environment. When we sin, we bring satan into the holy temple of God; thus he comes to destroy our achievements, to mock our faith and he accuses us before God; when Jesus sacrificed himself to save us from sin. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
