Let us thank the Lord for his blessings

Tuesday January 2, 2024

Theme: “Let us thank the Lord for his blessings

Text: Luke 1:46-48

46. And Mary said: My soul exalts the Lord, 47. And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48. Because he has looked upon the baseness of his handmaid. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed,

Let's remember:

Let us thank the Lord for his blessings in our lives. Benefits are these acts of great generosity, it is the good that we do to someone. Benefits are the advantages provided by God to his creature, they are beneficial actions. No one can count the blessings of God in their life. There are so many that they become incalculable. For what we can see, hear, touch, smell, let us thank the Lord. Mary said: "My soul exalts the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, because he has looked upon the lowliness of his handmaid. For, behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed." The grace received by Mary did not leave her indifferent as her praise was released. She glorified her God as a sign of joy and gratitude for his benefits. His soul exalted the Lord God. To exalt is to give great praise to the size of a fanatic, it is to bring out all the joy that fills a heart which has received what it has been seeking for a very long time.Mary exulted, she felt a great joy that could not be hidden. She let herself be transported by an extreme joy, which can neither be contained nor hidden. She thanked God. We too have many reasons for joy which compel us to thank God for his blessings. Let us place the blessings of God before our face and we will see how great their number is. Excellent Tuesday. Amen
