Theme : " In the arms of the Father "
Text : Jeremiah 18: 1-6
1. The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying: 2. Arise, and go down to the potter's house; There, I will make you hear my words. 3. I went down to the potter's house, and behold, he was working on a lathe. 4. The vase which he made did not succeed, As it happens with the clay in the hand of the potter; He made another vase of it, Such as he saw fit to do. 5. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying: 6. May I not deal with you like this potter, house of Israel? Says the Lord. Behold, as clay is in the potter's hand, so you are in my hand, O house of Israel.
Let us remember :
The Lord is able to give us a form, a meaning according to his convenience. We belong to Him, we are His people; the flock of its pasture. As such, he can decide to feed us, starve us, water us… He is the potter while we are the clay. He can give us an orientation that would suit our life since we are vessels in the service of God. He makes us and then uses us according to his sovereignty. Our murmurs would not be enough to change the thought of God towards us because He is the depositary of an incontestable authority. Every creature should enjoy being in the arms of God because it is the safest place. In the arms of God we are out of danger, out of the enemy's target. On the contrary, in the arms of God, we receive reparation, the improvement of our being. Excellent Monday in the mold of God. Amen Alain Louz.-
