Theme : " Do not conform to the present century "
Text : Romans 12: 1-3
1. I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which will be reasonable worship on your part. 2. Do not conform to the present century, but be transformed by the renewal of the mind, so that you will discern what is the will of God, which is good, pleasant and perfect. 3. By the grace given to me, I say to each of you not to think too highly of yourself, but to put on modest feelings, according to the measure of faith that God has bestowed on each one.
Let us remember :
We live in a century overloaded with high technology and intense entertainment. Several imperatives are our responsibility. Excellence is demanded in every field, leading people to work hard to the point of ruining their spiritual, mental and physical health. Very little or little time is planned for God. Paul urges us not to conform to the present century at the risk of perishing without Jesus. Let the Spirit of God take control of our life so that it transforms and renews our minds to discern what is the will of God, which is good, pleasant and perfect. Without this we will never be able to offer our bodies to God as a living, holy, pleasant sacrifice. However, our life must be a reasonable worship for God to take pleasure in it. So, let the Spirit of God take full control of our life, destroying our personal pride. Excellent Monday of transformation. Amen Alain Louz.-
