Theme: “Be renewed and strengthened for the good of all”
Text: Isaiah 40:27-31
27. Why do you say, Jacob, Why do you say, Israel: My destiny is hidden before the LORD, My right is unnoticed before my God? 28. Don't you know? have you not learned it? It is the eternal God, the LORD, who created the ends of the earth; He does not tire, he does not grow weary; We cannot fathom his intelligence. 29. He gives strength to the weary, and increases the strength of the weak. 30. Youths grow weary and weary, And young men falter; 31. But those who trust in the LORD shall renew their strength. They take flight like eagles; They run, and are not weary, They walk, and are not weary.
Let's remember:
The secret of strength is found in the Lord our God. Age is not the fundamental criterion of strength. It's not enough to be young to overcome all of life's obstacles. Again, we must be a young person submitted to the God who renews our strength every morning. We must then rely on God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, in order to be renewed and strengthened for the good of all. A single person renewed and strengthened can be the source of blessing for many. This is why we are asked not to be selfish to the point of not sharing our graces with others. God blesses us so that we bless our neighbor. He renews and strengthens us, so that we can be a source of blessing to those around us. The LORD, the God who created the ends of the earth; it is He alone who is able to strengthen us better. It is He who can renew our graces, our strength, our faith, our blessings. He never tires or tires of doing us good. He wants us, however, to be a transmission belt to channel his favors to others. Let us learn to take over and God will never tire of renewing and strengthening us. Let us draw from God the strength we lack. If we do, we will take flight like eagles; we will advance valiantly without fatigue. Have a great Monday. Amen
