Theme: “Young people, let your light shine before all men”
Text: Psalms 119:9-16
9. How will the young man make his path pure? By directing ourselves according to your word. 10. I seek you with all my heart: Do not let me stray from your commandments! 11. I hold your word in my heart, that I may not sin against you. 12. Blessed are you, O LORD! Teach me your statutes! 13. With my lips I enumerate All the sentences of your mouth. 14. I rejoice in following your precepts, As if I possessed all treasures. 15. I meditate on your ordinances, I have your paths before my eyes. 16. I delight in your statutes, I do not forget your word.
Let's remember:
No young person could make his path pleasant if he did not walk in conformity with the Word of God. The touch that beautifies youthful life is that coming from God. A touch of grace, sanctification, joy, love, obedience, peace, happiness. It is by directing himself according to the word of God that the young person will shine before all men and make those around him shine. The young person who has strayed far from God will never prosper, he will never shine, he will never enlighten in this world. This is why every young person must hold the word of God in their heart, so as not to sin against Him. When the heart overflows with the fullness of God, it can no longer shelter filth but it will shine and make all of life shine. Let us go and learn the precepts and statutes of God so that we no longer waver between light and darkness. The young person must not sink into darkness and not even into the obscurantism of faith. It's as if he lives in the dark night without a single ray of light. He will always stagger and will not be able to leave this dark night without calling the Lord Jesus into his life. May the young person take the time to count the goodness and sentences of God. ; he will learn that they are immense, unavoidable, precious and innumerable. The young person would benefit from accepting them and living in accordance with them in order to shine before all men. The greatest happiness consists of following the precepts of God and keeping them in the heart; it would be like a person who has all the treasures of this world. Let the young person meditate on the Word of God and put it into practice; he will shine before all the other young people and before all men. Excellent Sunday. Amen
