Theme: “Young people, let your light shine before all men”
Text: 1 John 1:5-7
5. The news which we have heard from him, and which we declare to you, is that God is light, and in him is no darkness. 6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not practice the truth. 7. But if we walk in the light, as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
Let's remember:
Obviously God is light, and there is no darkness in him. Ipso facto, in his children, there cannot be darkness. It is clearly established that God enlightens young people and allows them to spread this flow of light everywhere around them. Unfortunately, a great multitude of them do not love the light but prefer the works of darkness. The Lord God sends us everywhere to the most distant entrenchments of young people who are fleeing the light in order to flush them out and repatriate them to the light. This is how we must remain in the light of God so as not to be one of those young rebels who say one thing and do the opposite. Let us not be one of those who flash or blink to the left but they go to the right. Let us be true children of God who live in the light without making a foray, however brief, into darkness. We will be liars if we do not reflect the light. Let us not blow hot and cold because no source can produce sweet and bitter water simultaneously. If we say that we are in harmony with God, then let us practice the truth. Harmony among young people comes from respect for the Word of God. Whoever walks according to the Word of God shines and his light makes others shine. And if all young people shine, the world would be better and the Church, the body of Christ, would be better off. Thus the blood of Jesus will cover every young person. Have a great Thursday. Amen
