Theme: “Young people, let your light shine before all men”
Text: Matthew 5:14-16
14. You are the light of the world. A city located on a mountain cannot be hidden; 15. And they do not light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but they put it on the candlestick, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Let's remember:
Pagans often revile God because of our evil works that do not agree with our confession of faith. We young people say one thing and we do another. This contradiction is so blatant that it repels those who wanted to come to Christ. We become demotivators instead of attractive magnets. Now a city situated on a mountain cannot be hidden; from afar it is visible and it brings joy to those who see it. We are the light of the world, we must illuminate all the shadowy areas that do not have enough brightness. Every light has a radiation; the firefly emits a small intermittent light but which still illuminates in sequence. The flashlight emits periodic light depending on the charge of its batteries. The Christian must have his battery well charged. Our battery is faith. The loader is God through his Word. If we don't light, it's because we're not getting enough supplies from our charger. If not, why keep your lamp off in the dark when we have the charge necessary to light ourselves and others? Young people must shine through good works. Even if we have very few, let's manifest them and work to increase them; little by little, our works will increase and the world will glorify God. Have a great Monday. Amen
