The righteous shall live by faith

Sunday March 17, 2024

Theme: “The righteous shall live by faith

Text: Romans 3:21-26

21. But now apart from the law the righteousness of God is manifested, to which the law and the prophets bear witness, 22. the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. There is no distinction. 23. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; 24. and they are justified freely by his grace, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. 25. It is he whom God destined, by his blood, to be, for those who would believe a propitiation victim, in order to show his justice, because he had left unpunished the sins committed previously, in the time of his patience, in order to , I said, 26. to show his righteousness in the present time, so as to be just while justifying him who has faith in Jesus.

Let's remember:

It was Adam who sinned and all humanity was condemned with him. Likewise, it is the Lord Jesus Christ who has overcome sin; and, we who believe in Him are justified. Now there is no condemnation for those who are in Jesus. Faith in Jesus Christ grants us life since the righteous will live by faith. This beautiful restoration business is based on the grace that God gives us in Jesus Christ, our Lord. There is no distinction to be made: the Jews betrayed Jesus Christ, humanity has been made guilty. Our Lord Jesus Christ redeemed the Jews, and all humanity was taken into account. Let us be reassured, live by faith, love God. Yesterday all had sinned and fallen short of the glory of God; today we are all justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ. It is the exercise of our faith in Jesus that connects us to this grace. Yes Jesus and Jesus again, he is the only intermediary between us and grace, between us and salvation; between us and justification, between us and faith; between us and life. Without Jesus, our faith is in vain; no life without the Lord Jesus. It is he whom God destined, through his blood, to be, for those who would believe to be a propitiatory victim, in order to show his justice, because he had left unpunished the sins committed previously, in the time of his patience, in order to show his righteousness in the present time, so as to be just while justifying those who have faith in Jesus. Excellent Sunday. Amen
