Theme : " The power of the Risen One in our lives "
Text : Hebrews 13:20-21
20. May the God of peace, who raised the great Shepherd of the sheep from the dead by the blood of an everlasting covenant, our Lord Jesus, 21. enable you to do every good work for the accomplishment of his will, and do in you that which is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever! Amen!
Let's remember:
By the power of the Risen One, God makes us capable of every good work for the accomplishment of his will by doing with us what is pleasing to him. This new ability is multidimensional as it takes into account soul, spirit and flesh. Nothing is left out. God grants to each of his children the integral transformation of his life with an intense thirst to meditate on his Word. It is through the power of the Risen One that we have access to the new birth; thus starting from the old man towards the renewal of our intelligence. God is coming to change our mental software by transforming the way we think. Sin becomes our first enemy; we no longer enjoy sinning, we no longer commit sin voluntarily; we flee, we reject sin. The power of the Risen One leads us to love God, praising him, adoring him, proclaiming his Word in order to save lost souls. The power of the Risen One impels us to sanctification, holiness, justice, love, peace, honesty… and the other works which are in the will of God. Excellent Sunday. Amen Alain Louz.-
