Theme: “The Lord Jesus Christ comes to our aid

Text: Matthew 9:20-22

20. And, behold, a woman who had had an issue of blood for twelve years came up behind, and touched the hem of his garment. 21. For she said within herself, If I can but touch his garment, I will be healed. 22. Jesus turned around and said when he saw her: Take courage, my daughter, your faith has healed you. And this woman was healed that same hour.

Let's remember:

The cycle of years spent in disarray ends when we encounter the Lord Jesus. Life changes when the Lord Jesus Christ comes to our rescue. Anxiety, pain, questions and even humiliation; all this disappears and gives way to tranquility and happiness. The Lord always takes the path that crosses ours in order to make his precious help available. It is also to walk together with us instead of leaving us alone without a lord; that he lets himself be found by us. Let's not go faster than Jesus Christ, let's be on the lookout. Let us follow in his footsteps and, at the slightest opportunity, grab the skirt of his robe, something glorious will happen. Let us not miss this opportunity to meet Jesus who comes to our rescue. We must never postpone the appointment to meet the Lord. Instead, you have to take the plunge so as not to regret when it is too late. Let us be vigilant and quick to grasp the panhandle of his help. A difficulty dragged on for decades can disappear in the blink of an eye, if we commit ourselves to receiving help from Jesus Christ. You just have to make the right decision at the right time and that's it. Let nothing keep us from the help of Jesus. Shame and the judgment of others should not influence us. Detractors who take pleasure in discouraging good will must not hinder God's help. Jesus will turn around and proclaim our healing, yes, he will solve our problem. Have a great Wednesday. Amen
