Theme: “The good witness of the Christian family”
Text: Ezekiel 33:7-9
7. And you, son of man, have I made you a watchman over the house of Israel. You must listen to the word that comes from my mouth, and warn them from me. 8. When I say to the wicked: Wicked, you will die! if you do not speak to turn the wicked from his way, that wicked one will die in his iniquity, and I will require his blood from you. 9. But if you warn the wicked to turn him from his way, and he does not turn from it, he will die in his iniquity, and you will save your soul.
Let's remember:
Each child of God is an ambassador of his Father wherever he goes. He speaks in the name of God, as if God were exhorting through him. Wherever we go, let us carry the Word of God and assume ourselves as such. We are both ambassadors and sentinels. We watch day and night so that souls do not perish. This is our way of bearing God’s good testimony every time we speak in His Name. We have the mission to warn people who live a life without God. The Lord God wants us to warn unbelievers about His will and love for humanity. Yahweh asks each Christian to spread the good testimony within the Christian family but also among the pagans. God has set us as sentinels over every nation and over the Church. We must listen to the word that proceeds from his mouth, and warn humanity from him. When the LORD says to the wicked that he will die, if we do not speak to turn that wicked man from his way, he will die in his iniquity, and God will require his blood from us. The Christian's burden is very heavy and the responsibility very great. God will require the blood of those who die in sin if our testimony has not reached them. But if we warn the wicked to turn him from his way, and he does not turn from it, he will die in his iniquity, and we will save our souls. Let us bear God’s good testimony to the wicked.
