Theme: “The good witness of the Christian family”
Text: Jeremiah 1:4-9
4. The word of the LORD came to me, saying: 5. Before I formed you in your mother's womb I knew you, and before you came out of her womb I had you. consecrated, I made you prophet to the nations. 6. I replied: Ah! Lord Eternal! behold, I cannot speak, for I am a child. 7. And the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child. For you will go to everyone to whom I send you, and you will say whatever I command you. 8. Do not fear them, for I am with you to deliver you, says the LORD. 9. Then the LORD stretched out his hand and touched my mouth; and the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
Let's remember:
The greatest wonder in the world is to receive the moving testimony given by God about us. When the Lord Yahweh speaks showing his love towards us, it is a great sign of happiness, grace, joy, salvation, blessing and others. Men can testify about us, but God's testimony about us is extraordinary. It is both proof that he chose us from the maternal womb. It is also proof that He has set us apart to be servants with Him. This is further proof that we are not insecure on our journey. It is then proof that we are not alone in our daily lives. This is proof that success will always be our share because God is the author of our activity. What is still excellent is that God takes the time to inform us of everything he has done for us; it also talks about what we will do in the near future. The testimony coming from God is strictly true and sincere because God does not lie but it is He who is the truth. With this testimony, let us walk proudly toward eternal life by fulfilling His will. Nothing can shake us, for He is with us to deliver us, says the Lord. Now that we have received a brilliant testimony from God, let us put away our ego, put away our whims. Say no more, “I am a child,” for we will go to everyone to whom God sends us, and we will say whatever he commands us. Excellent Friday and good start to the weekend. Amen
