Topic: “The Christian, a reflection of Christ”

Text: Hebrews 12:1-3

1. Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3. For consider him who endured such opposition from sinners against himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.

Let us remember:

If only for the sake of those who love us and rely on us, let us strive to keep our heads above water by obeying Jesus our Lord. Many people pray without having a stable faith; these are people who need support to reach the basic stature of a Christian. A long walk always begins with one step. There are many who are only a few steps away. If we are not role models for this kind of people, we will be their cause of fall. Let us respect their weak beginnings by watching over our ways. It is obvious that we serve God for our salvation, but it is very important to know that we live in community; so much so that spiritual and social solidarity must be taken into account. The pagans who watch us can be attracted to Christ by our good testimony. God also sends us people who will only repent when they see our way of acting, therefore our behavior. Local evangelism is effective when the preacher's behavior better reflects the message he carries. Let us reject the evil that is relentless against us. Let us put on the good that Christ recommends to us because he had a very happy experience of it. Let us do as He did and we will never regret. Have a great Saturday. Amen
