Theme: “Shouts of joy”
Text: Zechariah 9:9-10
9. Be overjoyed, daughter of Zion! Shout for joy, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king comes to you; He is righteous and victorious, He is humble and riding on a donkey, On a donkey, the foal of a donkey. 10. I will destroy the chariots of Ephraim, and the horses of Jerusalem; And the bows of war will be destroyed. He will proclaim peace to the nations, and will rule from sea to sea, from the river to the ends of the earth.
Let's remember:
Let's express our enthusiasm by shouting briefly, loudly and repeatedly. Euphoria, which is the intense feeling of well-being and optimism, must characterize us. Let us manifest the feeling of great joy, feeling of great satisfaction and contentment. The announcement received deserves to be celebrated with cries of joy. We have been waiting for this moment and God is bringing it to us. How can you not squeal with joy? We were waiting for the arrival of the just and victorious King, he is here. His humility helping, He rode on a donkey, the calf of a donkey. A King of his rank would have mounted a horse to demonstrate his vigor and combativeness. But ours is cloaked in humility, it has nothing to prove to anyone. He is not in competition with any other deity. However, His is the strength and power. He destroyed the chariots of Ephraim, and the horses of Jerusalem. He destroys the bows of war. our King is gracious; he always comes to our aid. Our Lord proclaims peace to the nations, he rules from sea to sea, from the river to the ends of the earth. Let us shout for joy to announce to anyone who would listen how strong our God is. His strength is unparalleled, without similarity compared to the kings and deities of this world. Who can strip him of his power? It is to Him that the reign, the power and the glory belong, for ever and ever. Excellent Sunday. Amen
