Theme: “Shouts of joy

Text: Psalms 31:8-9

7. (31:8) By your grace I will be glad and joyful; For you see my misery, you know the anguish of my soul, 8. (31:9) And you will not deliver me into the hands of the enemy, You will set my feet at large.

Let's remember:

We daily ask the Lord God for help because of the sorrow that invades us. We cry, we lament, we scream to show our distress. We show the Lord our state of mind and our emotions which culminate in the peak of pain. Sometimes our face, our soul and our body become worn out by grief. To what other God would we go? The other gods are only idols made by human hands. Fortunately, help comes from the Eternal God, He who cannot deliver us into the hands of the enemy, but will rather set our feet at large. Let us shout with joy because his rapid intervention is effective. He doesn't let us cry all the time. He comes to our aid and our enemies scatter like wildfire. By his grace we are glad and joyful; because our God sees the misery of his people and he finds suitable solutions for them. He knows the anxieties of every languishing soul. He lifts us from our pain and brings us deep consolation, beyond our expectations. Let us smile, our God is a valiant hero. Let us shout for joy and celebrate his holy name. Excellent Friday and good start to the weekend. Amen
