Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes His power

Friday August 19, 2022

Theme: “Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes His power» Text: Psalms 145:1-8

1. Praise. From David. I will exalt you, O my God, my king! And I will bless your name forever and ever. 2. Every day I will bless you, And I will honor your name forever and ever. 3. The LORD is great and highly praiseworthy, and his greatness is unfathomable. 4. Let every generation celebrate your works, And publish your deeds! 5. I will tell the glorious splendor of your majesty; I will sing your wonders. 6. They will speak of your formidable power, And I will tell of your greatness. 7. Let the memory of your immense goodness be proclaimed, And let your justice be celebrated! 8. The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and full of kindness.

Let's remember:

Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes his power; it is to announce the constancy and stability, if not the durability of the desire to sing for Him. It is to promise God the living will to never tire of exalting him, regardless of the season. It is also to keep this promise and to work for its realization under his impulse and under his grace. Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes his power; it is to say what God does and what HE IS. God likes us to describe, at all times, the immensity of his greatness. He likes to have his achievements announced. The Lord loves that the songs of his people bless his name forever and ever. Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes his power; is to tell the glorious splendor of his majesty; it is to sing its marvels, its formidable power, all its greatness. It is also to proclaim the memory of his goodness, his justice, his mercy, his compassion. Excellent Friday and good start into the weekend. Amen Alain Louz.-
