Prepare yourself to meet the Lord

Wednesday December 13, 2023

Theme: “Prepare yourself to meet the Lord

Text: Isaiah 40:9-11

9. Go up to a high mountain, Zion, to proclaim the good news; Lift up your voice with strength, Jerusalem, to proclaim the good news; Lift up your voice, do not be afraid, Say to the cities of Judah: Behold your God! 10. Behold, the Lord Jehovah comes with power, and with his arm he commands; Behold, the reward is with him, and the rewards go before him. 11. Like a shepherd, he will feed his flock, he will take the lambs in his arms, and carry them in his bosom; He will lead the nursing sheep.

Let's remember:

The current challenge is to pass the information to anyone who can hear it: the King is coming, let's sharpen our weapons for his meeting. Every child of God should announce it with strength and courage without giving up. Let's use modern media and pass the information on to our next person. The number of people to raise awareness is not limited; so there are no restrictions, no reason to hesitate. Let us be able to carry loud and clear the standard of divine majesty without fear or shame, without hesitation. Let's climb the mountains of social networks so that our voices carry far and captivate the greatest number of people. We will finish this mission the day we leave this world, if the Son of God does not return before then. The news is so excellent that there is no point in keeping it to yourself; on the contrary, let's broadcast it publicly. We will be selfish if we keep such good news to ourselves. Beyond publicizing the imminent arrival of our Lord, let us also make the necessary arrangements for his meeting. It’s about sanctifying ourselves every day. Obviously the Lord GOD comes with the salary and the rewards precede him. Let's get rid of anything that can keep us away from this precious salutary event. Let us accept that the Lord is our shepherd, he will feed his flock that we are, he will take the lambs in his arms, and carry them in his bosom; He will lead the nursing sheep. Have a great Wednesday. Amen
