Theme: “Live your youth in sanctification"
Text: Leviticus 19:32
32. Thou shalt rise before the gray hair, and thou shalt honor the person of the old man. You will fear your God. I am the Eternal.
Remember:
The human person is sacred, all the more so the elderly person who represents wisdom, maturity, peace, balance…? Every elderly person is a source of teaching in view of all his experience and life. White hair is a crown of honor; It is found in the way of righteousness (Proverbs 16:31). Young people should not "desacralize"; gray hair which is the result of a long life under divine protection. Sanctification is also freeing oneself from the sin of depravity, rudeness, immorality… As such, young people must respect white hair; being the result of the grace of God but also the result of several sacrifices made since youth. Every young person will one day become old, he will wait to be respected. So, now that it's the turn of the old to expect our respect, let's give them what they deserve so that the elevator will be returned to us when our era comes. This is another often overlooked dimension of sanctification: reverence, humility, submission… Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
