Theme: “Let us be clothed in humility

Text: 1 Peter 5:5-7

5. Likewise, you who are young, be subject to the elders. And all of you, in your mutual relationships, clothe yourselves with humility; for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. 6. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; 7. and cast all your worries on him, because he himself cares for you.

Let's remember:

One thing is certain, God always blesses those who are humble. He reserves a great reward for them in order to show the proud the clear difference between the punishment of the proud and the blessing of the humble. We know that humility is not linked to age. You can be big and be humble in front of a small one. Likewise, a little one who has more potential than his big ones must be humble. The Lord God asks us to humble ourselves under his mighty hand. The mighty hand of God is His ability to save and protect (Exodus 3:19). For a person to count on the hand of God, it requires a strong dose of humility. Humans like to struggle to find their solutions themselves instead of relying on God. He thinks that God's solution is taking a long time, and he prefers to precede it. It is a lack of humility to act like this. It is also a lack of faith and trust in God. Humility requires us to humbly rely on the mighty hand of God. Let's give God time to act according to his good plan and his sovereignty instead of forcing his hand and coping with the most pressing needs. The Christian must recognize his limitations and admit that he cannot overcome trials in his own strength (Philippians 4:13). However, he must remain convinced that God has the power to act in his favor, at the right time and in the best possible way. If we expect help from God, let us begin humbly by casting all our worries on Him; and he will raise us up. Excellent Tuesday. Amen
