Leaning on God's Faithfulness

Friday April 29, 2022

Theme : " Leaning on God's Faithfulness " Text : 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

23. May the God of peace himself sanctify you entirely, and may your whole being, spirit, soul, and body, be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ! 24. He who called you is faithful, and he will do it.

Let's remember:

This first letter from Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy is addressed to the Church of the Thessalonians. The pious vow made at the end of the letter is also a prayer addressed to the good, faithful and just God. Any Bible reader can make that wish his own, by faith we know that relying on God's faithfulness he will make it come true. The Thessalonians experienced it favorably in their time; God had granted this wish - prayer. If our faith holds firm, we can also have this prayer answered in our lives. He who listens and grants prayers remains the same; his love is intact, his fidelity has not been diminished by the passage of time. However, we must live in obedience to the Word of God for us to be sanctified and found blameless at the coming of Jesus Christ. As for God, he is always faithful from age to age, he does not vary. Let us rely on his faithfulness. Excellent Friday and good start into the weekend. Amen Alain Louz.-
