Theme : " Leaning on God's Faithfulness "
Text : 1 Corinthians 1:9
9. God is faithful, he who called you into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Let's remember:
The faithfulness of God is a pledge from which he cannot turn aside, for in him there is neither change nor shadow of variation (James 1:17). Fidelity is constancy in affections, feelings, relationships. When he tells us to commune with Jesus Christ, his Son, God wants us to be in spiritual or affective union with Jesus, to share his condition, his feelings, his faith, his justice, his faithfulness, his goodness, in short, to share his life. . Fidelity is an attribute of God, it is related to his grace or his goodness, to his work of love for humans. In his faithfulness, God rewards those who are faithful to him (Ps 18:26). While Man varies when he promises fidelity, God, for his part, always remains faithful. As an illustration, we see that his plan for the salvation of the world has not evolved. It is the same plan, centuries after centuries, millennia after millennia. Even in the smallest things, God keeps his fidelity; he never violates it.
