Theme : " In the arms of the Father "
Text : Romans 9: 20-26
20. O man, you rather, who are you to dispute with God? Shall the clay vessel say unto him who formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21. Is not the potter master of the clay, to make with the same mass a vessel of honor and a vessel of base use? 22. And what if God, wishing to show his anger and make known his power, endured with great patience vessels of anger formed for perdition, 23. and if he wanted to make known the riches of his glory towards vessels of mercy which he has prepared in advance for glory? 24. Thus he called us, not only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles, 25. As he says in Hosea, I will call my people that which was not my people, and beloved she who was not the beloved; 26. and where they were told: You are not my people! they will be called sons of the living God.
Let us remember :
We are very happy to live comfortably in the arms of the Heavenly Father. In his sovereignty, he will model us and cut us according to the shape that he thinks to be the best. This will give us to take its form because “who assemble are alike”. God is the potter of our life, it is he who destines us to his service since he already prepares us for all eventualities. We are only clay, a raw material for the potter. We are his mass of clay that he pours into a mold to give us the best possible shape. What God does is good, let us not ask Him to justify himself on a subject of our daily life; He is full of love for us. It is with joy that God models us as he waits for us to serve to the glory of his name. Let us avoid becoming a vessel of base use when God has made us a vessel of honor. Rather, let us take advantage of being cradled in the arms of the Father. Excellent Sunday. Amen Alain Louz.-
