Text : Matthew 5:8-9
8. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God! 9. Blessed are those who bring peace, for they will be called sons of God!
Let's remember:
The inheritance of the pure in heart is to see God in His splendor. You should never regret having a pure heart. One can regret having riches which are vain but a pure heart is worth more than all the gold in the world put together. It is not possible to gain access to God's abode until one has the full password. When one has not met the conditions for access to this dwelling, one cannot see God. The password that gives access to the celestial city is the pure heart. No cardiologist, however formidable, can purify a human heart to the point of helping it achieve the purity expected by God. Our faith, our works and our obedience to God; added to this grace and divine election are the ingredients of the recipe which gives a pure heart. He who has a pure heart lives in happiness. Likewise a peacemaker lives in happiness. He is the one who distills peace, diffuses it wherever he goes; he is a propagator of peace. He avoids conflict and trouble. His happiness is to spread peace. The pure in heart loves peace because God loves peace. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
