God Visits His People

Thursday December 21, 2023

Theme: “God Visits His People

Text: Isaiah.52:7-10

7. How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace! Of him who brings good news, Who publishes salvation! Of him who said to Zion: Your God reigns! 8. The voice of your watchmen is heard; They raise their voices, They utter cries of joy together; For with their own eyes they see That the Lord brings back Zion. 9. Break out together in shouts of joy, Ruins of Jerusalem! For the LORD comforts his people, He redeems Jerusalem. 10. The LORD reveals the arm of his holiness in the sight of all nations; And all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.

Let's remember:

Nahum 1:15. says exactly the same thing as this verse 7, namely: “Behold on the mountains the feet of the messenger who announces peace! Celebrate your feasts, Judah, fulfill your vows! For the wicked will no longer pass through you, He is completely destroyed....” The apostle Paul encourages us to relay the prophet Isaiah when he says in Romans 10:15. “And how shall there be preachers, except they be sent? as it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring peace, of those who bring good news! ". This parallel reinforces the importance and urgency of proclaiming to the world that God visits his people. Let us arise with joy, inflamed by the Spirit of God, let us advance towards the pagan target with the assurance of being saved ourselves. Let us share this message with our families and give them the equipment of eternal salvation. God visits his people; the information is too noble to be hidden. Let’s spread it! The feet of those who preach the good news shine; this light illuminates their path, they never fall into the enemy's trap because God is their help. Let us publish salvation. Let us tell the world that your God reigns! Let us raise our voices and announce the presence of God among his people. Let us join in shouts of joy; for the LORD comforts his people, He brings back the lost, and the exiles come home. Have a great Thursday. Amen
