Theme: “Family and holistic development“
Text: Matthew 21:28-32
28. What do you think? A man had two sons; and, addressing the first, he said: My child, go and work today in my vineyard. 29. He replied: I will not. Then he repented, and he went. 30. Addressing the other, he says the same thing. And this son replied: I will, sir. And he didn't go. 31. Which of the two did the will of the father? They answered: The first. And Jesus said unto them, Truly I say unto you, tax collectors and harlots shall go before you into the kingdom of God. 32. For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you believed him not. But tax collectors and harlots believed in him; and you who saw this did not then repent to believe in him.
Let's remember:
The key to the Christian life remains faith. We have an obligation to be men and women of faith. Faithfulness in our commitment is a non-negotiable requirement for continuing to please the Lord. It is better to be in the scenario of a rebellious person who repents quickly, then comes to his senses, puts on his faith and follows the Master. Conversely, let's not be among those who seem obedient but even deny their own commitments. Let us not be among those who say to love God, with an appearance of godliness, but denying the power thereof (2 Timothy 3:4-5). Let us develop our spiritual personality in its entirety until we enlist our flesh behind the Spirit so that the spirit will be willing and the flesh will be likewise. As long as there is a big gap between the flesh and the spirit, it is very likely that the flesh will prevail. Let us direct our life towards the integral obedience of the Word of God. Let us listen to the call and the orientations of God and go towards this direction that he gives us. In the presence of God, of his word and of his servants, let us be obedient without remorse and without negligence. Let us take charge of our faith, our belief, in all integrity; love God with all our heart, with all our strength and with all our mind. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
