Theme: “Do your job well because your remuneration depends on it”

Text: Hebrews 6:10

10. For God is not unjust, to forget your work and the love which you have shown for his name, having rendered and still rendering services to the saints.

Let's remember:

In every work done, there is a service component which consists of doing good even if in return for this work we have been paid. The fact remains that you have done good to your neighbor. Whenever we do good, the Lord God engraves it in the book of memories. This is the case with any professional or priestly activity that we do. Likewise in the Lord, activities are also a work of charity and salvation that result in eternal life. Let's not only work to earn money but also take into account the service provided or to be provided. This is why in each work, there is a certain nobility that we feel in its exercise. Let us put perfection into the accomplishment of our work; let us add to it a spiritual dexterity which is the mark of the love of God in us; and the result will always be sparkling. The brilliance of a work comes from the love we put into it and the time we take to do it without forgetting the seriousness we invest in it. As for helping the saints of God, let us not tire of doing it and when another opportunity presents itself, do it again. Let us take good care of the servants of God who are responsible for accompanying us to eternal life. They pray for us, they cry with us; they rejoice with us... think about doing them good continuously. Let us be joyful when we do a charitable work so as not to do it out of spite. It is the impulse of the heart that is rewarded by the Eternal God. Excellent charity Saturday. Amen
