Theme: "Man and Death."
Text: Ecclesiastes 9:1-5
1. For I have applied my heart to all this, and have examined all this, and I have seen that the righteous and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God, both love and hatred; but men know nothing; all things are before them. 2. All things happen to all alike; the same fate for the righteous and the wicked, for the good and the pure and the impure, for the one who sacrifices and for the one who does not sacrifice; for the good and the sinner, for the one who swears and for the one who fears to swear. 3. This is an evil among all that is done under the sun: that there is one fate for all; Therefore, the hearts of the sons of men are full of wickedness, and foolishness is in their hearts while they live; afterward, they go to the dead. For who is excepted? 4. For all who live there is hope; and even a living dog is better than a dead lion. 5. For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no reward, since their memory is forgotten.
Let us remember:
One thing is unanimous among all creatures that breathe: no one is spared death. Let us know that physical death is not always the result of misconduct. Death is not reserved for sinners. No matter how much faith is developed, no matter how much wisdom is acquired, all creatures must pass through the "death box." This necessary passage allows us to change the nature of our eternity. For some, it is the path that leads to eternal life. For others, it is also the path, but one that leads to eternal death. It is worth emphasizing that only God can tame death. He is the only one capable of exempting any creature from death. Therefore, it is God who decides the life or death of a creature, whether marine, celestial, or terrestrial. Even full of wisdom, every human will die. It is a fate common to all humanity. This message teaches us that we should not say that a God-fearing person should not die like Tabitha Dorcas in Acts 9, beginning in verse 36. However, our good works are savings in God's bank; they will defend our cause on the day God opens the Book of Remembrance. We must know that after death, there is another life reserved for God's children who will be saved. Have a wonderful Thursday. Amen.
