Theme : “ Covenant with God ” Text : Exodus 2:23-24 www.meditons-ensemble.net
23. Long afterward the king of Egypt died, and the children of Israel still groaned in bondage, and cried out. These cries, torn from them by servitude, ascended to God. 24. God heard their groans, and remembered his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Let's remember:
The covenant with God never fails; it doesn't lose its shine and doesn't get old. When the human part abuses the terms of the covenant by offering itself to evil, the Eternal always calls to order and urges us to regroup. When we are in danger and we cry out to Him; as our God is full of mercy, he takes hold of himself, remembers his covenant and takes matters into his own hands. He forgives sins and comes to the aid of his people. The covenant with God is a covenant cast in stone, for its revocation is almost impossible because of the mercy and compassions of God. There always comes a time when the love of God gets the upper hand over our infidelities. Thus, let's not voluntarily break the covenant with the Lord God because the consequences would be devastating and therefore very heavy with consequences. Let us preserve the achievements of our covenant with God; let's protect ourselves from all-out excesses. Excellent Tuesday under the Covenant with God. Amen Alain Louz.-
