Theme : " Cease with betrayals "
Text : Judges 16: 16-21
16. As she tormented him and annoyed him every day with her entreaties, his soul grew impatient with death. 17. He opened all his heart to him, and said to him, The razor has not passed over my head, because I am consecrated to God from my mother's womb. If I were shaved, my strength would fail me, I would become weak, and I would be like any other man. 18. Delilah, seeing that he had opened all his heart to him, sent and called the princes of the Philistines, and said to them, Go up this time, for he has opened all his heart to me. And the princes of the Philistines came up to her, and brought the money into their hands. 19. She put him to sleep on her knees. And having called a man, she shaved off the seven plaits of Samson's head, and thus began to tame him. He lost his strength. 20. Then she said, The Philistines are upon you, Samson! And he woke up from his sleep, and said, I will get out of this like the other times, and I will be free. He did not know that the Lord had withdrawn from him. 21. The Philistines seized him, and gouged out his eyes; and they brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with brazen chains. He was turning the grindstone in the prison.
Let us remember :
For some unacknowledged reasons, we like to betray our own; while they relied on our discretion. Betrayal comes under the devil because in the Christian race there are no traitors. We become very suspicious when thinking about the betrayals in our lives. Some people had sworn never to trust humans again following the betrayal of those around them. Considering the definition according to which, treason is the act of failing in the duty of fidelity; then every infidelity committed is a betrayal. Let us protect ourselves against marital, financial, friendly, professional, spiritual betrayal ... Let us also protect those around us in order to make our society viable. The one who is most betrayed in this world is God because every sin is a betrayal. Let's stop with these betrayals. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
