Theme: “Behold, your King comes”
Text: Zechariah 2:10-13
10. Shout for joy and rejoice, Daughter of Zion! For, behold, I come, and will dwell among you, saith the LORD. 11. Many nations will cleave to the LORD in that day, and will become my people; I will dwell among you, and you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. 12. The LORD will possess Judah as his portion In the holy land, And he will still choose Jerusalem. 13. Let all flesh be silent before the LORD! For he has awakened from his holy abode.
Let's remember:
Now is not the time for distraction or unproductive debate; let us give ourselves over to welcoming the coming King. Let everyone be silent and let everyone’s attention be focused on the Lord Jesus who is coming soon. With this imminent arrival, let us do what Isaiah 40:9 says: “Go up to a high mountain, Zion, to proclaim the good news; lift up your voice with strength, Jerusalem, to proclaim the good news; lift up your voice, do not be afraid, say to the cities of Judah: behold your God!” Let us raise our voices in unison and welcome the Son of God who is at our door. This third vision of the prophet Zechariah must bring joy to all those who are saved because their master comes to live among them. Let every child of God shout and rejoice, For behold, the King comes to dwell among you. It is very noble to welcome a King into your home; it is an immense privilege and a divine election. By welcoming the King into our hearts, this will be manifest because we will shine like lighted torches; we will attract nations who will follow the Lord and they will become his people. Daniel 12:3. “Those who understand will shine like the brightness of the sky, and those who teach many righteousness will shine like the stars for ever and ever.” Have a great Wednesday. Amen
