Theme : " Be reconciled with God "
Text : Genesis 45: 1-5
1. Joseph could no longer contain himself in front of all those around him. He cried out: Get everyone out. And there was no one left with Joseph when he made himself known to his brethren. 2. He raised his voice, crying. The Egyptians heard it, and the house of Pharaoh heard it. 3. Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph! Is my father still alive? But his brothers could not answer him, because they were disturbed in his presence. 4. Joseph said to his brothers, Come near to me. And they approached. He said: I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold to be taken to Egypt. 5. Now, don't be sorry, and don't be sorry that you sold me to be brought here, for it is to save your life that God has sent me before you.
Let us remember :
Every day our hearts must be in harmony with God. We cannot afford to treat God or our neighbor badly and feel at peace. An evil committed in the past as long as it is not confessed and repaired, must challenge our conscience and our faith. Let us be reconciled with our neighbor and with God. Reconciliation with our neighbor involves repentance, forgiveness, reparation, the commitment not to fall back into the same sin, the practical demonstration of change in relationships in order to reassure our neighbor. Before God, reconciliation is to re-establish the bridge once destroyed by sin. It is to get back in agreement, in harmony with God. It is very important to engage the heart in reconciliation. It is not a story of fine words but of real commitments which will be the proof of a new agreement. Excellent Monday of reconciliation with God. Amen Alain Louz.-
