Theme : " This God who was, who is and who is to come "
Text : Isaiah 43: 14-21
14. Thus saith the Lord, Your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sake I send the enemy against Babylon, and I bring down all the fleeing, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of which they drew glory. . 15. I am the Lord your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King. 16. Thus saith the LORD, who made a way in the sea, and in mighty waters a path; 17. who set out chariots and horses, an army and mighty warriors, suddenly lying down together, that they no more rise up, Annihilated, extinct like a wick: 18. Do not think any more about past events, And do not consider any more what is old. 19. Behold, I am going to do a new thing, which is about to happen: Will you not know it? I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. 20. The beasts of the field will glorify me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I will put water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to water my people, my chosen one. 21. The people that I formed for myself will proclaim my praise.
Let us remember:
The Lord is the God who changes the seasons of our life. He brings peace where there was trouble. It brings joy to life and dispels misfortunes. He has the power to bring water back to a desert so that he creates oases and rivers in the middle of the desert. He is our Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; it disperses and routs the enemy of our life. He is the Eternal, our Holy One, the Creator of Israel, our King. He exercises his mighty strength every day; He separates the waters that hinder us, the waters that prevent us from going to take possession of the promised land. When a mighty army of tribulations is after us, the Lord crushes them and destroys them, destroying their power. It is this God who supplies us in all areas of life. He refreshes us and brings us novelty to embellish the days of our pilgrimage here below. So we the people of God proclaim the praise to the glory of the Lord God. Excellent Saturday of joy.
