Theme : " This God who was, who is and who is to come "
Text : Isaiah 40: 25-31
25. Who will you compare me to, to make me look like him? Said the Saint. 26. Lift up your eyes on high, and see! Who created these things? Who makes their army march in order? He calls them all by name; By his great power and by his mighty force, there is not one that is lacking. 27. Why do you say, Jacob, Why do you say, Israel, My destiny is hidden from the Lord, My right goes unnoticed before my God? 28. Don't you know that? have you not learned it? It is the Eternal God, the Eternal One, Who created the ends of the earth; He does not get tired, he does not get tired; You cannot fathom his intelligence. 29. He gives strength to the weary, and increases the strength of him who faint. 30. The young are weary and weary, And the young men are tottering; 31. But those who trust in the Lord renew their strength. They take flight like eagles; They run, and never grow weary, They walk, and don't grow weary.
Let us remember:
Our God is unparalleled; he is the one and only incomparable God. He has no equal before his face. Anyone who wants to have the correctness of the knowledge of God need only behold the expanse of his creature to see how the work of his hand is submitted to him. Nothing can escape his face. The Eternal knows the whole identity of each creature in great detail. He imprints being and movement on his creatures to move them according to his sovereignty. The Lord is this God who was, who is and who is to come. From eternity, he never tires of making the world work. Intelligence finds its sources in the Lord; it is he who endowed it with humans to make geniuses of them because the true creative genius is himself God. It is God who gives strength to the weary. It is he who increases the vigor of the one who fails. Let us trust in God to renew our strength; and help us take flight like the eagle. This is how we will keep our strength forever and ever. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
