Theme : " The conditions for being a disciple of Jesus Christ "
Text : Ephesians 6: 10-17
10. For the rest, be strong in the Lord, and by his almighty power. 11. Put on all the armor of God, so that you can stand up against the wiles of the devil. 12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the rulers of this dark world, against wicked spirits in the heavenly places. 13. Therefore, take all the weapons of God, so that you can resist in the bad day, and stand firm after having overcome everything. 14. Stand firm therefore: have the truth for a belt in your loins; put on the breastplate of justice; 15. Put on the zeal of the Gospel of peace for your feet; 16. take above all this the shield of faith, with which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one; 17. take also the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Let us remember :
The disciple finds his strength and his victory by practicing the Word of God. In the challenges of life, he uses spiritual weapons. He makes sure to rely only on the Savior Jesus Christ through His grace. The disciple does not fight physical persons since he knows that the fight is spiritual. In the fight with the forces of evil, when the devil sees the truth in us; he is already collapsing with discouragement. But if we are liars, we can already admit defeat; unless you repent. So let's practice the truth. The disciple must always be in love with justice and peace, he is impartial, he does not fall into corruption. A disciple should always carry the gospel around him. His zeal comes from the Gospel of peace. Man of faith, the disciple must remove doubt because faith excludes doubt, his faith must extinguish all attacks of the evil one. The disciple is assured of his salvation and must work to never lose it. This is how we will defeat the devil. Happy Sunday to the disciples. Amen Alain Louz.-
