Theme : " The conditions for being a disciple of Jesus Christ "
Text : John 3: 1-3
1. But there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, 2. who came himself to Jesus by night and said to him, Rabbi, we know that you are a coming teacher. of God; for no one can do these miracles which you do except God with him. 3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Let us remember :
For those uninitiated in discipleship, spiritual language is inaccessible. It is closed to those whose spiritual understanding God has not opened. Likewise, it is closed to those whose intelligence the god of the century has blinded and obscured. This explains why Nicodemus did not understand the divine language of Jesus. In reality, the disciple is one who is born of water and the Spirit. He died with Jesus and rose with him. He therefore passed from death to life through regeneration. He who is not born again cannot be called a disciple of Jesus Christ. This is one of the fundamental conditions for entering discipleship. Eternal life will be the end of the disciples who overcome with Christ. Therefore, we must be born again, leave the old nature, cleave faithfully to the Lord Jesus Christ the head of the disciples. To be born again is to become a new creature; leave everything and follow Jesus Christ. Excellent Friday and good entry into the weekend. Amen Alain Louz.-
