Theme : " Spiritual ignorance "
Text : Ephesians 4: 17-19
17. So this is what I say and what I say in the Lord, that you must no longer walk like the Gentiles, who walk according to the vanity of their thoughts. 18. Their minds are darkened; they are strangers to the life of God, because of the ignorance which is in them, because of the hardness of their heart. 19. Having lost all feeling, they gave themselves up to dissolution, to commit all kinds of impurity together with greed.
Let us remember :
There are paths we take, words we speak, thoughts we cherish, teachings we receive, sacrifices we make ... which are proof of the vanity of our thoughts and therefore of our spiritual ignorance . We have certain convictions which prove that spiritual ignorance blinds us to the point of no longer having lucid judgment. Even our discernment is truncated by our estrangement from spiritual wisdom. When we walk according to the vanity of our thoughts, our intelligence will be clouded. This is why many of us speak of God, but in fact, we are strangers to the life of God. In fact, we remain angry, hateful, full of lusts, jealousy, slander, slander… Ignorance leads to hardening of the heart and abandonment of the fundamentals of faith. Let each examine the relevance of their thoughts and ways. May spiritual ignorance not take hold in our hearts. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
